US Electric, a full service Electrical Construction firm, is seeking self-starting, hardworking Electrical Construction Project managers to move forward with our vision into the calendar year 2024. We are looking for individuals who strive to become better managers every day and advance our company by growing stronger at their craft. This individual will report to our Director of Project Management and will be able to display the follow competencies:

Ability to Look Ahead and Plan–

Ability to gather and foresee sufficient strategic information for pre-project and construction project planning. This involves ensuring that adequate resources are available at the appropriate time during project execution to maximize a successful project.

Electrical Construction Knowledge-

Must have experiencewithlump sum & design build construction projects.

Must be fluent with the current N.E.C.

Must be fluent in contract language.

Must have construction scheduling knowledge.

Must have pre-task planning & pull planning experience.

Must be able to participate in B.I.M coordination.

Must be fluent in A.I.A billing & change order management.

Communications Management–

Ability to ensure communication happens within the organization and between stakeholders and participants throughout the initialization, planning, execution, monitoring, and control phases of a project.

Human Resource Management–

Ability to adhere to human resources policies and practices.

Internal and External Relations–

Understands and responds to internal and external policies and regulations that impact the company.

Issues Management/Conflict Resolution–

Ability to recognize resistance and overcome it, to control project issues while avoiding power confrontations, and to provide opportunities instead of barriers.

Knowledge and Management of Legal Issues–

Ability to identify, balance, and rectify potential legal issues as they arise.

Organizational Savvy–

Ability to establish project processes and implement them to achieve what is outlined in the company’s strategic plan by translating these into practical concepts relevant to the execution of the project.

Project Controls –

Ability to observe current project cost and schedule performance, compare them with the standard plan or norm, and institute change management and corrective action to keep project on budget.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
